A discounted rate for the fees applies for each participants or accompanying person resident in countries defined as LOW-INCOME ECONOMIES (discount of 50% of the rate) or LOWER-MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMIES (discount of 25% of the rate) by the World Bank: https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/906519-world-bank-country-and-lending-groups. The discount does not apply on the cost of the social dinner.

Costs for travel, accommodation, visas, and additional insurances (e.g., health, travel, personal effects) are not included in the registration fee. Travel, accommodation, visa and insurance arrangements are the participant’s own responsibility.

Cancellation by the organization

Should the IAP2024 conference be cancelled for organizational reasons or as a result of force majeure, the organizer will refund the paid registration fee. Claims for further liabilities or damages are excluded. Participants should keep this in mind when making travel arrangements.

Cancellation by the participant

If the participant cancels more than 6 weeks before the start of the IAP2024 conference, 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed. If the participant cancels within 6 weeks before the start of the IAP2024 conference, €100 of the registration fee will be refunded. Social dinner is refundable only before September 1st, 2024. All refunds will be made in euros. The organization cannot refund any shortfalls due to exchange rate fluctuations or bank charges.
